Meet Our Team
Andrew has been working in the Sunbury and Riddells Creek area for a number of years since graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry. During this time, Andrew has been involved in both the Public and Private sector. He has since completed postgraduate studies in Diabetes Education through Deakin University.
Andrew has a keen interest in management of all types of running, cycling and sports related injuries. As a weekend warrior himself, whether it be on the footy field, on the bike or out on a run, he knows how important keeping active is and staying injury free. He combines his passion for sports with his passion of biomechanics to help get you back on your feet.
As a trained Diabetes Educator, Andrew takes a holistic and preventive approach with all clients. He is passionate about diabetes and diabetes foot care. His aim is to empower all people with diabetes to achieve their individual goals
Katie graduated from La Trobe University with Bachelor of Health Sciences majoring in Rehabilitation Counselling before completing a Masters of Podiatric Practice. Katie is a passionate Podiatrist who enjoys all aspects of the field, with special interests in biomechanics, footwear and diabetes. She is considerate and respectful of her patients and takes their needs and beliefs into account when planning their treatment.
Having played several different sports of the years, Katie has a good understanding of the demands placed on a person’s body as well as their feet while playing sport and knows how important it is for an athlete to prevent injuries rather than treat them.
While still a podiatry student, Katie has volunteered at the Peter MacCallum Weekend to End Women’s Cancers event in 2015 and saw first hand how important people’s feet can be in completing the day. It also gave her vital experience in the Podiatric field, from treating many biomechanical and dermatological complaints.
Katie’s personal interests include playing tennis and golf. She also has a budding interest in cycling having competed in a few triathlons over the years. She also loves listening to and playing music on a variety of musical instruments and is an avid follower of AFL.
At Our Podiatrist our goal is simple, to provide quality, professional and friendly podiatry care for everyone.
